This type of plastering is derived from the works of past eras, including the Qajar and Shah Abbas Safavi eras, which are dated back 450 years. This style of work is more visible in traditional hotels and traditional restaurants. It is performed with less thickness of plaster than other types of plastering, and it is finished with the painting, as in the figures, mostly azure and brick (brown or black) colored backgrounds are used. The designs used in this type of work are mostly Islamic patterns, Arabesque patterns, Girih, and geometric patterns.
